Hes just a ignorant old ### hat. He use to be a mercer driver. If I was FedEx I would kick him off those loads. Guard was waving for him to come inside he refused and said it's there job to come check him in. Then tried to drive in without checking in lol.. tonight he was yelling on the CB because another truck went out the wrong way.. My guess this is probably why he isn't at mercer anymore.

I have a Detroit 14L. Tuned. After the tune my temps would go up even on the slightest hills. So my turbo blew back in beginning of November. I always wanted to change the style of turbo to a Borg Warner. But, on the 14L you have to change the manifold because there’s no space... you also have to change a lot of the piping around in there. I honestly don’t care about the fuel mileage increase if any, as I pull an RGN and I’m heavy a lot of times. I just like it because I do have the power but with the power I’ve had since the tune, I’ve had increased temps and the bully dog ceramic manifold seems to take care of that....

What kind of engine you have?

More power, ie hp will help with fuel economy. The way it was explained to me, the more power the engine produces allows for less boost and less boost allows for fuel economy savings.

after a tune on the ECM, you'll benefit greatly from a free flow muffler as well as a more efficient manifold to keep the temps down. Most tunes reset the injector timing....(more fuel/more heat)... also an EGT gauge is A MUST!

I hope this is a troll.. diesel doctor has no clue what he's doing. All his tunes are the same for every truck with the same engine. All he does is change esn in ecm which is why it only takes him 10 mins... a REAL tuner would make a tune for each truck based off a template and edit it based on the truck. You can't take a 400 hp engine and make it a 550 like that clown does.
