vince , I broke some rocker bolts back in august, 3 and 4 were completely dead, lucky no head damage , I replaced all the rocker studs and bolts inall 3 boxes, with the two cylinders not working, I had blowby and it blew some kind of oil out, my guy at home done the work and I got by for 2000 total. but that wasn't a cat shop. hopefully yours will be something that wont break the bank.

They are mostly great dane freedom lt's. Most are brand new but you can easily get one someone has turned in also. They come with factory warranty. Payments are 525 per month on flats. ( 425 plus 100 that goes to pay the balloon at the end. Terms are 60 months on new and what ever is left on the used ones ) Nice trailers actually.

Thanks skateboard. finally got off my butt and made it all work. Really glad I did. Maybe we can have lunch sometime around home and you can give me some pointers. That is if I can figure out how to get there. Really easy to get out of the house. Not as easy to get back once you leave the southeast it seems.

    Hey man.
I picked a used utility because I wanted it paid off asap. I pay 550 a month plus 100 that either towards the buy out or bringing the trailer up to snuff if you end up turning it in. My only regret is the tires. I wish I would've asked for better tires or something because they only lasted 6 months.
All flats come pre-wired with an electric dump on the rear axle. You will have to add another plug if you wish to use it.
If you have a major breakdown, well it's your trailer. However, like another driver said it does have a warranty.

My trailer weighs 11300. it's a little heavy because I got a coil package. I only hauled 3 coils in a year so I could've gone with out it. I'm happy with it. I went with a new utility with my other truck and the buy out will be less and the 100 a month will cover it.
I hope I helped ya. Good luck.

    Thanks Rooster. It's a 97 W9 with a 550 Cat/18sp

I'm hoping that's all it is and no head damage. LoL if i get out of Cat for 2000.00 i'll be very happy. Already have 800.00 into the tow bill.

How far did you get it towed for $800? Was that with the load still on?

Well got it in to Cat 1st thing this morn. Looks like it's going to need an in-frame. #2 and #5 are dead and the others don't look so good and it needs a cam. They already told me my PDI turbo needs to come off and a stock turbo put back on. There goes my fuel mileage and power:biggrin_2557:.

Why does your PDI turbo need to come off? Is it junk or just effect their warranty?
