I like having a little extra power and will never understand 2 people, the ones you described that speed up while you are passing, and those that cruise bumping their governor. I drive between 64-68 and am governed at 75. I've thought about opening it up, but it's rare I want more than 70 so no need. I do like the peace of mind knowing I got some ooomf to complete passes or in case of emergencies.

I'm with you. I set my truck usually around 64 (where I get my best fuel mileage), and there's just those times where I got to stomp on it to put one of those white volvos from Chicago in their place. if they wanna drag race, I can guarantee you I will win. I'll usually just back out of it and wait until the next hill and wave as I go by.

I'm with you. although mine is WFO, I also know I don't need to push it. Have had more than 1 steer blow out on me, and the experience was rather unpleasant. Would want to have that at 75 or better in the hammer lane

Had a student do a brake check on a steer blowout about 4 years ago.... I've had better days. He was a good driver in general, just panicked. I told him to stand on the accelerator, but it was already too late.

Why is your truck governed at 75?

    I th
I think it's a white volvo standard operation they don't need to be chiago. What kills me is if I'm climing a hill following a truck I will look back and see a white volvo charging the hill and stall out next to me preventing me from passing if needed. Give them a little bit until they show up behind me allowing all the drivers to get around just because he couldn't get his foot off the pedal and get behind me rather then attempting to pass me in the first place. I call them the down hill racers. Now I know there are plenty of other trucks that drive the same way but white volvos seem to be prevalent.

$80 bucks for a air filter that needs to be replaced every 6 months... or $400 for a washable air filter. Ordered my fleet air filter today for the 680
