Dude, the majority of those loads dont even pick up till after Christmas, so there may be 30 loads listed within 300 miles of springdale but 90% of them are going to dead areas where he will be deadheading another 500 miles minimum to get a reload.

Theres one load going to Ohio that's 309 miles away weighs #45k and its tarped.

The 2 New York loads are 200 miles deadhead going to Richmond Hill which is Queens, NY... Dont pay enough. 6 foot tarp.

Some of them loads are probably no good anyhow.

And you see more than a few going to the midwest... What Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri? Give me a break.

    #### I didn't realize the 19th, 20th, and 21st were after Christmas. How silly of me.:rolleyes:If you have to deadhead more than 500 miles from anywhere in OH or DE to get a load then I surely cannot help you.

$2.15 a mile to Queens is good money to me. Especially since I'll be able to pick up NJ right afterwards. Always a good reload in NJ if you pick the phone up and make a call or two. Too much work for you or don't want to go into NYC? Fine, but don't sit here and say there is nothing to do is all I'm saying.

Never know if a load is good or bad until you call.

Last I checked, IL, IN, OH, KY, MO were all part of the Midwest.

    But what do I know.

I wouldnt even consider going to Queens for $2.15 a mile... That's terrible.

And besides the 1 load going to Ohio not a single load listed near springdale is going to IL, IN, or Kentucky...

Yep, to each their own is right. I wouldn't go near Queens for that little of money. But I don't like running up there so it costs big money to get me to go. Surely Mercer has Midwest freight paying $2.15 a mile.

You should pull a van this time of year. Looking on the public boards van freight pays as good, and sometimes better than flat freight.

Don't know what else to tell you then. $3200 on three days work seems fair this time of year. And if those Little Rock loads don't float your boat, go down to Siplast and grab that load to Newark NJ. Hazmat but no tarp and stays out of NYC. Sitting on the board right now. Load out of Springdale right now on the board going to WI for $2.22 a mile. Seems like a normal winter to me.

You got me there. There's nothing into IL or IN at this time on the board. A phone call or two to see what's kicking could change that. There are 3 loads of beams out of Armorel on the board right now to DE no tarp. $1.73 with deadhead.

I see plenty of work. Might have to get dirty and go places I don't have a desire to go to, but I see work.

To each his own... I dont mind loading out of Armorel but I wouldnt lug those heavy beams to Delaware for that either.

We all run the way we want and that's why we both have our own trucks, so we can do what we want. What works for you might not work for me, just like loads I do you probably wouldnt.

    Happy Holidays to you.
