So couple things i've noticed about Van.. East coast is pretty much a No unless u get a good rate in. GA seems to be around 1.10? VA seems to also be a cheap area. FL is just a No go not much at all even if so its around $1.05-1.20 if lucky. Ohio seems decent IN also seems decent OK seems decent. TX eh good load in bad out. So guess my goal is to run Midwest / central

FYI.... I 40 is closed in both directions from exit 20 in NC to exit 451 in TN DUE TO ROCK SLIDE.....prepare to take I 26 to go around...

Even when they do reopen it, they are only going to have it 1 lane in each direction until all repairs are completed..... it's going to be a mess for awhile

Better off going to LS if you really want to pull a Van

Georgia and the Carolinas have been super cheap since the hurricanes. Florida is always cheap, last year, for 6 weeks in a row I took weekend loads to Florida and deadheaded out 400-600 miles, and was making good money, so money can be made.
TX and OK are ehhhhh for sure, can make good going in but gonna take hit coming out, although I've scored some great rates out of the Dallas area.
But the Midwest is where it's at for van freight. IL, IN, OH, KY, WI, IA, MI.
I've made some great revenue weeks running out to the Idaho, a little cheap coming out though.
Remember, van agents aren't restricted to areas like flatbed guys are. BCV, SFL, SFV, CTV are agents that have always been good to me...TruckerPete1990 and RStewart Thank this. -
Blah blah blah blah blah blah....
