    Today I asked my coordinator about how to go about getting a load off DAT load boards because freight around the crib has been terrible. He told me I’d have to talk to contractor relations and said that it would hard to get a load off an outside board. He also said that he’s never had a driver get freight off an outside board. Any validity to that? Most of the freight leaving from around the house is going to TX or close rn, just trying to get where the freight is.

    Enjoy. I hope it works out for you. I wouldn't make a change based off a $45 log charge but that's just me. I pay for everything that it costs to run my truck but then again it is my business so I don't mind.

    If you get to know an agent really well you can probably get it done through them. Mercer does make it hard, almost impossible to get outside freight. That's about the only thing I don't like about them. They should be like Admiral Merchants in that regard.

    Yea, I’ve called her a few times. I’ll throw that suggestion in the next time contractor relations calls lol. I’ll tough it out until freight starts moving.

    They will in April thru August maybe September then settle back down little bump for Christmas then u.p.s. then suck for the winter ,if the economy stalls look out for the bottom of the barrel

    I wonder how many drivers here are getting log violations on JJ Keller versus Omnitracks?

    What happens on Keller when a drivers cell phone isn't plugged in and runs out of juice throughout the day as its logging and then you get stopped and they want to see the phone? Is that where a lot of these drivers logs not current violations are coming from?
