That's the key. Run for a high enough rate and the cost numbers are only a factor to increase profits, not make a profit. I watch my daily/weekly revenue more than I do rate per mile since my fixed costs are usually higher than my fuel and other variable cost. I usually only run about 1500 miles a week so I have to pay more attention to the fixed costs since they are there whether I run 1500 miles or 4000 miles.
