Pete, where are you going in Tn. with your nursery stock?

 

Ill have to check them out. Be much easier to install them.

You don't just screw it into the sleeper with sheet metal screws or some such method. The proper way is to install a rivet nut in the sleeper wall then use a bolt to connect to that. Done correctly with the proper tools it will be water tight just like any other rivet.

 

Nursery stock is now running near me out of a couple places in NJ. Of course my trailer failed inspection and needs a new upper coupling plate (kingpin) and it will take Reitnouer 15-20 days to build one then ship to the shop. Just as freight starts to pick up and the high dollar nursery loads show up I'm down for a month. I must be inheriting Pete's luck as he prepares to leave us.

Dang that sucks. Unless you want the time off, id look at renting a trailer.

 

Pete get a receipt for the elog, Mercer pulled it out of mine said they didn't get it. I paid for it. Other people had problems with plates, which I didn't. But a receipt wouldn't hurt. Hell video the trailer too, couldn't hurt .

Good luck too. Start saving for a new truck. Get over that hump.
