Not sure I am yet my son and I own 3 companies together my truck, 360 painting Tulsa (franchise purchase), and NLS Properties House flipping we are in the process of starting a 4 company 360 painting of Oklahoma City rolls out in July.
Recently He was given the opportunity to Apply for the CEO position of Premier services owner of 360 paining franchise and several others franchises we were kind of surprised to find out they are down to considering 3 Applications and he is one of the 3 if he gets the position he’ll be moving to Virginia and I’ll have to go over see our other business interests

As for cheap if we can find someone to take everything off are hands quickly as a full package cheap is a good term fee or giving it away is out of the question

I forget the part number but its a red silicone. If they dont put some on the corners it will leak every time. Its right there in the service manual, tho since i no longer run a series 60 i don't carry a copy with me anymore or id look it up and give you the detroit part #.

This is a perfect example of a major problem with having shops work on older engines. The series 60 went out of production in what? 2010? That's over 9 years. A lot of techs have never even seen one, let alone torn them down enough times to remember the quirks of the engine. He probably consulted the manual for much of the wirk but once he got to buttoning her up he didn't look up the section on installing the pan. "Its an oil pan so just slap a new gasket on it and tighten the bolts just like the dd13 we had in school."

I get how it happened and i almost feel bad for them except when you charge dealership labor rates the techs should know the engine inside and out. i probably took my pan off my first 60 series a half dozen times trying to stop the rear section from leaking until i opened up the manual. After all its just a freaking oil pan, no different than any of the dozens of other engines I've worked on right?

Think most places will be closed on Friday the 5th for a long 4 day holiday weekend or business as usual?

I'm taking it home. I pick up tomorrow in Jersey and deliver 30 miles from MY Freightliner in Wausau wi on weds morning. Just made an appointment on line for friday.
Should i say why its leaking? Or just wait till they hand a bill and tell them to bill FYDA in youngstown?

Normally I'd have my mechanic do it, but dam it i paid freightliner to do it and they are gonna fix thier mistake
AND its gonna get washed under there also

    roshea Thanks this.

I would let that freightliner dealer in Wisconsin know that you just had the work and give them an invoice number if they need it because it definitely in my opinion send the bill to those other idiots since the work was just done.

I would think if the freightliner is warranting the work they would want back to them to fix it... That's freightliner in Wisconsin isnt affiliated with the Youngstown is it?
