Last I heard, you can idle your truck in Mass. if below 32 degrees but don't get caught in the rest areas idling.
You should be able to idle in the truck stop and even pay parking is worth the money up there. I'd call and reserve a spot.

Yet I hear everyone complain about pay lots until they can't find a spot. I think pay lots are great for the east coast. Maybe pilot needs to get on that money maker.

There are always spots open in Willington. Especially on the weekends ;)

The Pilot will fill up, but there isn't anything there. The T/A has a decent TV room and clean showers.

If you unload and want to stay near Boston, there is a Citgo in Plainville, MA at the 95 & 495. Decent food and clean showers, but they want a few bucks to park. There aren't many places to park near Boston.

Also, that Citgo has a killer TV room ;)

    Bad Monkey Thanks this.

And that's what the thanks button is for. But your quite welcome, as others have helped me more than I can count.

have to agree with this post. had rights for 20 years and when you factor in all the extras it basically pans out the same, only difference is doing it this way (leased to someone) is alot less work and in the end money comes close to being the same. and really i dont think you would see any benefit to doing that for the 3 months that it gets slow at mercer. sure you can gross a whole bunch of money with rights and a couple trucks but its what you keep in the end that counts. more money + less work= happy trucker
