How many days between loads ( if any ) have you sat?
And for me for the record, I'm not using 8 foot tarps pulling a #44,000 load to the northeast for 2.20 before dh... Sorry ain't doing it.

Thats exactly what had happened. Not just to us but everyone. A lot of guys say we are losing customers and while we may have lost one or two, the majority are customers we only had last year due to the extremely high spot market rates and historic low capacity. Capacity loosened up and the spot market fell so they went back to the shipping everything via brokers.thaistick Thanks this.

But yes I agree 100%.
Freight is slow for sure. Question is though is it slow due to loads not available or Mercer has to many trucks? Wish I had that answer. As for rates it’s hit and miss but I stay somewhere around $2.00 to $2.20 but I haul a bunch of tarped loadsJonJon78 Thanks this. -
Also as far as the buddy system I have not witnessed it but not saying it does happen but I do know for fact there are loads that don’t make the board. Did the right truck in line get that load? Don’t know ♂️

I think it's a combination of both. I tarp a fair amount myself but primarily just 4 footers.

Right now I’m in Columbus Ohio and there are 36 flat and 3 SD loads in 200 mile radius. DAT has 1589 in 200 mile radius in same timeframe
