    Ya know.

There was a time when mercer and landstar were the brag of the forum.

Also ask them why do they have trucks sitting on the west coast a week at a time waiting for a load?

I'll brag on landstar... little douch around st Louis today. Was easily 13 feet wide empty.. doing 80 mph. Can honestly say I've never seen a oversize going that fast

Been seeing a lot of OS lately going faster then speed limit.

Would see em in AZ also when I was otr. I hauled a few smaller OS and max speed is 55 in that state.

I'm not picky...the only place i haven't been with Mercer is the pnw, nyc, and south Florida...it's bunch of crap to say the least..dh 400 for a load that pays under $3mi significantly reduces your revenue and increases your expenses...I've had several customers ask where are all the mercer trucks at?..begging for flatbed and one of the customers the loads pay nearly $2.75mi to the truck and yet nothing on the board like before...with the safety score Mercer has that customers use to dictate who hauls there frieght, i would say a score of 91 is pathetic and therefore it's negatively affecting freight.....my coordinator even confirmed the "floodgates" are open...losing at least a dozen contractors a week since start of the year....they don't have the frieght volume anymore..been like this for 13+ months...anyone who can't see what is going on is for sure naively blind to it..

I live on the West coast and yes freight out here is pretty bad. I’m lucky my equipment is paid for.
I am also lucky I have a heavy equipment repair business. Otherwise yes I’d be looking for other
    Work for the truck.
A lot of my friends who have their own numbers are complaining also they say it’s hit or miss.
Mostly miss. The ones who have direct customer freight have had to lower rates and are nervous.

Hitting home depot in the AM. Need to cut some bolts on my shocks. Would a adapter for the drill that has a cutting wheel work well for cutting a nut off on a semi? My impact won't move the nut anymore so gonna cut it off:p
