You don’t need to spend that much on a grinder. I bought a Black and Decker from Walmart 20+ years ago for $40. I use the hell ouuta that thing and it still works great. I have another one I keep on the truck, not sure what brand it is, bought it from a Home Depot several years ago, it’s a real cheap one and works great as well. If you have a Harbor Freight near you buy one from there.

You might use it more than you think once you have one.

LOL... Should go pretty quick with how rusty they are... I keep one on my truck... Think they are about 5 bucks if you arent looking to buy a grinder.

Only reason I left my bike at Mercer was I had a family thing to do so my wife picked me up. I live just Outside of Louisville towards Shepardsville. Please and thank you go along way. Not cursing at agents or coordinators or having a longer list of things you won’t do than what you will do. Show up at a shipper looking fresh and happy goes a long way. Stop in a meet the agents face to face that helps a lot too. Ive been here longer than four months btw. I’ve owned truck since I got out of the army and mine very rarely sit still. Now that I’ve downsized to one it’s way easier to just talk to people like people not like pieces of dirt on your shoe. No I’m not a recruiter just throwing my 2 cents out ther

I stay east of the Mississippi River unless the load pays enough for me to justify a deadhead back to east of the Mississippi (not saying I do that, just that's my price for me to go that way) and I do just fine. I pace myself to make between $180k-$190k a year to the truck and I typically run 3-4 weeks and take a week or 2 off. I run a lot of northeast and midwest, no Canada and no Hazmat.
