I go in and out of Fort Bragg so much it isn't funny. That area and up the east seaboard is a great area. Probably one of the best areas for Mercer. Personally I don't care for the east seaboard but the rates are fantastic up there. He should get home about as much as he wants living there.horsecrazychic22 Thanks this.

He could do very well running the eastern seaboard, with a flatbed.horsecrazychic22 Thanks this.

Everyone I do work with is dead right now and most is local freight trust me I have been knocking on doors but most say they can get it done for less and I'm only pricing it at $3.00 a mile brokers run it around here that's also why I got out of hotshoting I can't run what there getting these loads moved for and dead head back to get another

Sounds like your in a bad area. Mexicans have lowball that area for quite some time. Every winter it gets worse down there, probably because the mexicans get cold up here.
Take a bounce out of there, go north east. -
i have come to peace with the fact that i need to bite the bullet and get out of tx for anything over operating cost to get out and start making money. didnt take long to come to that conclusion. and we are in the same freight market

Well wideload how is orientation going so far?
horsecrazychic22 Thanks this. -
Keep your head up and just keep looking and stay on the phones. I was on a personal (only leased to company guys) load board today and seen a load of tires hauling on a flatbed leaving over wander around Lubbock,Texas going to South central, Indiana paying $3,400/1300=$2.61/mile I can tell you it didn't last long as someone jumped all over it (my uncle) and then your put into some good paying freight..... Maybe it would do you some good to lease to a carrier and run off their system for a while and get a fresh look. You may like the money you see and if not then you can always pick up your own where you left off. Just a thought..horsecrazychic22 Thanks this.

Thats usually how an inspection goes for me. No matter what I get fixed and think I am good to go when I get my inspection they always find something that doesn't meet their standards... Good luck and I hope you get rolling.horsecrazychic22 and BigKountry Thank this.
