Hey, i know you made the change from dry van. Did you already have the equipment for FB? Also, did you purchase a trl or you going to lease one through Mercer?

i have been fortunate enough to have good friends. i had been running around the last two months picking up bits and pieces of fb equipment from different people. i was able to come up with an enclose rack, ten 3/8" chains, ten ratchet binders, four regular binders, two lumber tarps, belting and coil racks and i have about $600 Invested in all. i had 13 straps but when i got here i looked them.over and found 7 to be unacceptable sp i bought ten more, bought some corner protectors, bungies and timbers for another $340 or so

if you come here with nothing and have to buy it all from them you are looking at around $3200 from the company store. you can pay half and have the rest taken out of settlements weekly. i didnt want to start off in the hole

and i got a trl from mercer. with my credit it would cost more monthly for me to.buy one

Did you get a flat or stepdeck?
Mercer also has a used department for boxes and headache racks which they sell for the drivers. Also check the bullitin board in the drivers lounge.

i am still a little light on equipment. i dont have a smaoke tarp or any smaller tarps. i would really actually like to trade these. 8' drops for a few 16x24's or sell these. i dont have any 2" straps but i do have two 4" hand ratches and enough straps for all my winches and hand ratchets at the same time. i didnt buy any of my oversize stuff to save some money since i figure i wont be hauling any right away with this being my first fb gig
