I just delivered to Cedar City, UT from NJ for $2.20 on 2330 miles. I couldn't turn that down. I loaded just as the blizzard started. Then I got my first time through Vail. Looks like I started the year off with a bang

I guess I have to pay more attention to the load dates on the loads my co picks. I unloaded this morning in kearney, ne and thought I was reloading in omaha tomorrow, but it doesn't load until wed. There is a load that in omaha tues for kansas but I'm already booked dang it. Lesson learned. I know you guys would say I should be picking my own loads anyway right?

Any Mercers here do any business with KW in Louisville? I spoke with the Sales guy that sits at Mercer a couple times a week over the phone. I'm going to buy a truck from somebody lol and I was wondering if anybody had some experience good or bad that they can pass on.

My previous employer was taking all his Pete's and KW's over to them. Peterbilt of Louisville, located n Clarksville, IN, is useless in every way.

Rooster, you can call agents direct but the load still has to go down the board before you can be dispatched on it.

If the agent can see the list is just a few and knows those few drivers are sitting at home (not waiting) the agent can push things up. Or if the agent has doubts about covering the load, they will push things up especially if it's a mercer only load. Like when you see, in the details " do not broker this out or Mercer only".
And sometimes agents take care of specific drivers (not suppose to).
This time of the year, only half the fleet running, so agents give loads quicker in bad areas.Travelinman Thanks this.
