Wow got a new step. Ususally a waiting list on steps.
There is quite a bit more freight for flats but I love haveing a step.

 

they got like 14 new trailers in last week. thats why orientation was huge monday. i only waited tso weeks for a step, they say the wait isny bad right now

 

Why are you going from dry van to stepdeck? Why not Flatbed?

 

cause i am stuborn and i dont listen to anyone.

i want to get into more machinery and oversize in the future so i figure it is a better place to be. and i am not young anymore, i dont bounce well

 

actually an entire securement package chains, tarps etc can be had for about 2,300 dollars not including headache rack.

 

My dad and I were leased to mercer and it was good. We would come in to Cali Stockton and get on the board and haul local freight and work are way to the top and pick what we wanted. We live in central Cali so it was the best. We haul logs in the summer and this winter we are going to do local hauls using our CA number that we use in the summer ill keep you all posted on our progress.

 

step has a few more items then flat amd i said if you come in with nothing, which means headach rack. the guy ahead of me.in line had a $3600 bill and bought a used rack all be it a huge one

 

well im on a unexpected vacation monday night i got a call at 11pm for a hotshot load was up in east texas and hit a 6point i really hate deer so looks like ill be down a few weeks

 

Is it cheaper to buy equipment from mercer store?

 

Not sure if trailers are cheaper but straps, binders, tarps, and chains are alot cheaper.
