    I just booked a load with Mercer $2.80 per mile on 750 miles. Indiana to Savana,Ga. Bummer it doesn't load till tues. morning. Guess I'll set at the house couple more days.

    thanks for the info, sounds like a good company to work for. ben runnin around with own authority for 20 years time for a change. tired of chasing freight, tired of chasing money, just has gotten to the point it isnt worth it.maybe ill see you guys over there, thanks again

    I don't always get those high dollar loads but I do average close to $2 per mile. That 2.80 per mile load is an oversize but with all oversize Mercer takes care of the permits and any escorts needed. And they get the permits right away.
    They never mess around with our money and upfront with everything.
    If something about a load changes like times, they call and ask if we still want to keep the load. If we don't they don't squabble or say a word. Never push to get us to take a load.
    They saying around the yard, is Mercer will let you go broke if your picky and lazy. But there is plenty of good paying freight in most areas. "Not Texas, Co., or Fl."

    i am not real happy right now but its probably nobodys fault but my own. i learned a good leason today. dont be too picky on friday.

    Yea, Wideload, I think we've all made that mistake. Friday loads get booked up pretty quick.
    Bright side, is Lousiville is good area to get out of.
