Why would anyone buy new equipment if they have quality used equipment? I for one will purchase the used equipment in an effort to keep my costs low. New and flashy turns into old and dirty real quick in this business.

Some of the used equipment is very over priced. The used equipment is on consignment and priced from drivers. And some think used should be just pennies under new price. If the price isn't much different, most prefer to have new.

Well my gravy loads ended tonight. Guess I shouldn't complain, I banked ten grand in just over two weeks. Still can't help feel disappointed.

All O/O. If you want to team with someone you can. But, I don't believe they will have anything to do with aside from approving both people to drive their freight.

Mercer does have teams. Mostly husband and wife teams. Not a lot of actual team freight but that's about normal for flatbedding.
I'm sure it's hard to get high miles as a team considering most flatbed freight is bankers hours, very little loading/unloading after normal hours or on weekends.
