You have to be dispatched on the load you have accepted. Then you can accept and get dispatched on the 2nd one. Usually if I'm lining up loads I call my coordinator and give him the list of what I want to do.

 

he may not have made it up, he apparently misunderstood what he was told.

more than likely what he was actually was told was this, if you book loads ahead , make sure you can meet the pickup and delivery times, before you obligate yourself.

if you have 4 loads prebooked and the second cancels, there is never a problem coming off load number 3 or 4, many times you can find another to enable you to keep loads 3 and 4, but I have never had a problem with that.

 

well well, my charlotte,nc that loads tomorrow in Arkadelphia that paid 1500 canceled out on me today , so the cancel monster got me today,

am I sad you say??? nope, still loading tomorrow in Arkadelphia with Norfolk,va that's pays 2653 bucks on 1150 miles. bazinga, that's turning crap into gold.
