Flightline, are you talking plastic pipe or steel? I loaded at wilton IA last week at a steel place and they were pretty quick. I seen the loads of plastic pipe on the board but the steel one took me where I wanted to go.

 

You got lucky going to steel place enstead of the plasitic pipe.
Plastic pipe out of Wilton was the one that took 7 hours to load, then refused detention and cancled my del appointment so had to spend 2.5 days on a 500 mile run. Agent there said she'd get me some extra money but has yet to. Agent should stand by their word.

 

In a situation like that... Is it between you and the agent about the extra money, or will you coordinator lend a helping hand ?

 

i saw a mercer truck pulling a 53' UPS trailer across Montana on 90 a couple weeks ago, i thought mercer only did that around the holidays?

 

no, they pull a few ll year round, whenever they have overflow.

 

yes, they will. but it also depends on customer, if customer refuses to pay , you are up the creek without a paddle. I am sure this is filing in flightline's "DO NOT LOAD" there file.
