Finally out and running. I just arrived at the Ameristar in KC and then will be moving on to joplin in the morning. Deliver in Tulsa Monday and load for home. Thank god I'm not sitting in Iowa anymore... However I found out today that my coordinator is taking the next two weeks off which is a bummer...

I love where I live. Northern California is a great place to live. I try to ignore politics and just focus on trucking and spending my off duty time up in the mountains... [IMG]

Exactly, every state has something about it that will have you shaking your head, but they also all have have things that make you proud /happy to be a resident.

    That's a beautiful picture !

was that you going up 71 north of Cinci early Fri morning? Tried calling you on the CB but my antenna is shot from hitting too many trees. Or you didn't have it on.

Does mercer have a prepass or ipass program? Any of those toll or scale systems?

PrePass is $12/month. I don't know if they still have NorPass, that was a one time $50 but used in just a few states, most have gone to PrePass. If you get bad inspections or other company violations they'll pull it.

No scale program, you have to do that yourself. I have EZPass. If you get an EZPass account get it in NY State. Monthly fee is only 50¢ I think but you get best discount on NY bridges and tolls roads. 25% on those bridges can really add up. I've heard, but not confirmed, that you can use the PrePass transponder and add the EZPass to it so you only have the one device.
