If your truck has clearcoat paint, acetone will remove it right quick.

Let me gripe about another OD I took. Only puts me at 14'.3" tall, and I thought it'd be an easy one. Got my Texas permit for heading north. 2.5 pages of detours. Made it 200 miles up to Waco. and what a day of long driving. The permits even took me 35 miles around the scales.
And I thought I could make it to Texarkana.
Lesson learned, Over height in Texas is not fun.

No it's not unless your interstate....I also like how agents tell you the miles when they can't understand you can't just drive there lots of guys loose there rear on loads because of routing.

Just used a heat gun and a plastic scraper. You can see where it was, might try acetone when I get home.

I used aircraft adhesive remover before, got the letters but left the backing, the sign guy there said use a vinyl eraser. I will try a small bottle of nail polish remover.

Might not be what you guys have but the guy that letters out trucks uses oven cleaner to get painted letters off.

May I suggest trying "Goo-Gone" (I probably have the spelling wrong) l picked it up in the ACE Hardware store... I have used this stuff on "left behind" sticky stuff before and it worked really well.

I've seen on tv where the guys on powerblock used a thing called a rubber eraser wheel you use in you drill. Sound just like its name like a eraser for pencil on paper. Napa might have it. I have no experience with it though. Looked good on tv as do a lot of things. I've been enjoying my weekend at home, but looking forward to getting back to work. Booked a benton harbor,MI to Louisiana load monday. Good luck with your signs Spyder. Rob out.

On another topic I have to buy some new singles for my binder. Anybody have experience with the yokahama ty 517? I can get them for $850 apiece not counting mounting and balance. There a little higher rolling resistance than the michelins but about $300 cheaper per tire. Thoughts anyone?
