Just had to show me up didn't ya. Next time you can buy the 17 dollar margaritas. With those two gravy loads you had this week, you've just been killing it. Gonna have to get you that Montana run.

Yeah I agree. And besides, I don't plan on upgrading any time too soon for that carb mess.Only have a year left on my mule & she'll be all good!! Another good reason to stay away from out there.

    Another inquiry... regarding headache rack...
The truck I'll be picking up next week doesn't have one so I'll be getting one through Mercer... The recruiter suggested I should install it myself... But I don't know the first thing about doing it, not to mention I don't even have the tools to do it even if I knew how to install it. Any advice /suggestions?

spyder, it was great finally meeting you in person. wish I had known who you were sooner. I hope the instrument cluster solved your problem. good to hear you are back on the road. maybe next time flightline can join us for a trashcan at famous daves.

I guess spyder and I both can testify that what we say on the forum we also say in person.

I had to wait til I had my truck paid down before I could use the mercer insurance. but I would ask if the co. mercer uses could add gap. I know ooida offers gap but only if you get the physical damage from them.

I like the mercer ins because of the windshield coverage, hope this helps.

dubber, it basically bolting down 2 u bolts on each side, and at the mercer yard all ya got to do is go to drivers room and tell someone ya need a little help putting on a headache rack, you will get all the help and tools ya need. but the guys that do the mobile mechanic work will do it for cheap. you wont lack for help or tools at the mercer yard, many old hands will help and many of the new guys in orientation will help each other.

this place is old school, we still help each other. I think some guys hang out at the yard just to help folks out, lol.
