You note need a tanker enforcement to pull skidded tanks. Not 100 percent sure, but think I read, it's anything over five hundred gallons.

And only if the tank has liquid material in it.

    cootr68 Thanks this.

I its like some of the 1996 trucks some of the mercer hands have, it would be a bargain.

So my truck keeps blowing fuses for the trailer lights and running lights on the truck. I have turn signals, brake lights, cab lights but no running lights. I isolated the problem to the truck so I called Louisville Peterbilt and of course they're booked till tuesday. I had a real nice load going to MD for 2.77 mile and when I cancelled it the agent called and said the customer raised it another $500… Really annoyed that I can't do it. So anyways, I'll be in Louisville tomorrow and through tuesday at least. If you're out trucking over the holiday, stop by and say hi!

btw, if anyone is wondering, I just filled up my DEF tank on the truck. I originally filled it in WI last friday, ran to Florida and back to Louisville before I needed to fill it again. The DEF mpg is 136.63mpg for a cost of 0.02cents a mile. 18 gallons to fill it on 2556 miles. Wish my truck fuel mileage was that good!

I've had that issue with older Pete's (obviously) blowing the fuses. One was a short under the bunk, the other was just a bad connection from the pig tail to the tractor. I'm guessing that shouldn't be your issue, and I hope it's something that is easily fixed. Have a good, safe weekend.

In case you didn't know, the app has been fixed. At least for iPhone. You have to delete the old one and call and get a new code.

Has anybody read the blog lately? It seems now that were not allowed to tune our trucks anymore. Too much smoke I guess. I'm starting to think there getting a little demanding. First elogs before there mandated, Too many csa points that gets you a trip to the priciples office. Now I cant tune MY truck how I like it. What is that saying about rats and a drowning ship? Sorry rant over.
