making me look lazy. guess i better get some miles tomorrow.

had to have a tire pluged today. had my steers rotated because that wear i started getting after i replaced the tie rod end has continued. my almost new bridgestone steers are shot now, well one is. the other started cupping but hopefully it will stop

Even if the cause has been fixed, the tire should continue to get worse. Just the way it goes. You could have the tire shaved, but that will remove rubber shortening the tires life.

skateboardman, you said just have faith?.....i hope that works out for ya. the banks and mortage companys dont usually except that excuse though. mercer is a good company fo the most part, but i think they have hired wayyyyy to many in recent months. i have a truck still leased on there, but its setting. i'm in my other truck pulling a propane tank.here lately the revenue at mercer hasnt really come close and i'm home alot more with my tank gig. good luck though.

ya i know. i have another good steer at the house i will replace the bad one with. the other one will have to see what happens. its brand new because i put a bolt thru the other one when it was 3mo old. they will both end up on my drives most likely with two other decent spare i have when i send out four casings to be capped

I'm currently pulling a pneumatic tanker and was thinking about switching over to one of the company flatbed trailers. since this is a company truck, is there a way to for me to pull Mercer loads or maybe Landstar? I'm going to approach the company this week with my plan. I'll find my own loads as our dispatcher is pretty much worthless.

We both have public load boards, but I have to warn ya, Mercer will be the last one to put any of the good freight on the public board, they take care of the leased on trucks first.

As I would expect, but I would like to pull LTL freight. I see a bunch of it out there. Most is $1.20-1.40 a mile, but I would be able to haul 3 loads.

I put together a 3 piece LTL from San Antonio, Houston and Pasadena. It all went to Shreveport and paid a little over $2,500.

I wish u the best of luck, seems like you might be looking in the wrong places.
