Anyone running 96 or older truck at Mercer? What are your options as they are going to ELDs?
I had plans to buy a 359 and go lease with them but they just told me 97 and newer only.

it all depends on the inspection, it will be just as when you leased it on, anything wrong its go to be fixed. and yes its common to not have trailers at times, ask for a used one maybe?
-
yep, recruiting can help ya with that, just go ahead and take the plunge, get ya a truck and go after it.
-
They told us in orientation sept 3rd that they dont have a solution for mechanical trucks yet I think until the government figueres something out ya'll be the lucky ones still on paper
-
I'm not there. But planned to buy a 359 and lease on but now I'm rethinking.
-
Last spring at the big mercer party, they said all trucks with mechanical engines the mercer lease will be terminated at the end of 2015 and said no longer signing on trucks with mechanical engines.
I'd hate to see a guy buy one, then not be able to sign on.blacklabel Thanks this. -
I'm thinking this is the route more and more. I keep seeing all your boys up around Minnesota and it's making me more and more antsy to do it. -
Which LED lights did you use for headlights?
-
Yes which headlights did you change to?
I was also wanting to go to LED headlights to help with night driving at UPS. But I hate to spend $700 on a pair of headlights and not be worth it. I see alot of cheaper ones which are HID's or LED assist but not true LED's. Too many choices -
Guy here has led on his t600 and in the winter they don't get her enough to melt the snow off of them. He changes them out in winter
