Keep your head up my friend. Dark times dont last forever.

On a bright note, you missed being a country song by a pick up truck! If she took that...

Actually she did take the pickup truck too.
But it's all just material things (except my favorite old dog).
And I'm blessed in so many other ways.

Well, she could have had the decency to tell you she was gonna leave. This just might be a blessing for you. Good luck to you.

greg, I am sorry to hear of this. I have been thru a couple of bad breakups in my life, one almost like yours. I know you will get thru it, you have someone to help you thru these tough times. hopefully soon, we cant get together again for a trashcan in Louisville.

I will make an effort to get up that way as soon as possible. haven't seen ya in a while and always enjoy visits with you. take care of yourself. I am booked on a load to nc then a 13 wide swimming pool to Miami. after that I will head north, famous daves will help ya feel better

I really like the new dh miles on the load detail.

the removal of the match button I can easily live with, I was told part of the reason for that was quite a few were getting confused and thinking when they matched themselves they were committing and when committing they thought they were just matching.

you still get matched to loads but by the parameters set with coordinator.

I understand some folks are really upset by it, I don't understand why. but I can see from mercer's viewpoint, as I am the worlds worst at being picky. this way you kind of got to make a decision, and without being matched to nine million loads, less calls to make when loads are running the board.

I will adapt, just as I will when I finally have to do an ELD.

I had to go back and look, I never noticed the change in matching yourself to the load. I'm in week 5 of being off for family medical issues (not me, parents) and am going crazy being tied down all this time. Hope you guys have left me some work to do once I can get back in the truck.

I understand the deal with parents. my dad is in nursing home and some days his mind is a bit off, example. he called me last week to let me know he had a heart attack and died. he said he was at the funeral home being embalmed. he said he just thought he would let me know.

he was serious though, it was a bit funny. he is still alive as of today.

Yeah, there's enough stress from not working for 5 going on 6 weeks. Dealing with an aging parent is rough. And the thought that that can/will be us someday doesn't do much to make any of us feel better.

If you're passing through Bordentown soon let me know and we'll have dinner again.
