i just talked to mercer today and they are doing lease purchases on trucks and trailers anybody have any info on this? The guy i talked to said they have hooked up with a really good company they get trucks through. And asked if i wanted to get the ball rolling . i done filled out my app cause i was going to drive for a o/o that has 2 trucks on with mercer. But after talking to them today they highly recomend i lease a truck and trailer from them and try that out. i said ok but if it dont work out ican jjust buy my own and lease on to them? some input would be highly appreciated. Thanks

This article about Mercer is a couple years old but it mentions Pathway Leasing supplying trucks for lease purchase.

mercer isn't actually doing the lease on the tractors, they have for years done the l/p on trailers. I think the leasing outfit requires settlements to go thru them to get their money first. the leasing company will lease one to guys who get approved by mercer.
s I don't
think its actually mercer doing the l/p, is it one of those no money down deals????

 

I cakked them when I barely guy line and was told little to ko freight for them but I Beleive theres a husband wife there running a stretch rgn

I can't believe I just paid $1.83 for fuel. This is going to hurt when fuel prices/FSC normalize. Probably best not to spend any of this extra fuel $. I'm sure by summer we will all need the extra $
