If you're starting driving you have 5 miles at any speed b4 it registers, say your at 1 minute with 3mi to go stop 5min then drive it will not violate you but if you wait less than 5 minutes it will resume the drive line

I kind of said that wrong you can make any duty status change when you stop but if it's under the time limit the log will show you back on the drive line when you move again

Ok. So mercer gives you 5 miles and 5 minutes. Compared to the one I used at 2.5 miles and 3 minutes. Not bad. I could work with that.

Yes, the economy was crashing, if you made 1.50 a mile it was a lot, especially coming from out west. They were changing personnel around and claiming that many drivers had stiff them on repairs. One bad apple pays for all I guess. It was my obligation, but they took it upon themselves to have someone come and deliver it. That driver didn't have a trailer with him for what ever reason.

yeah that's normal for em to send someone to deliver load. he probably dropped his trailer and bobtailed to get the load. that actually helped you out in the long run. and they did get stiffed. sad but true.

Yall tell me what you think of this idea, I can't decide. My truck has 1.3 million miles on it. 2004 KW with an MBN C-15. Had inframe 290,000 miles ago and power divider about 8 years ago. That's all that's been done to this truck. The motor is no longer an MBN but flashed ECM and got rid of waste gated turbo. It's time for transmission, I have 13 spd. I'm thinking of rebuilding trans and dropping both the engine and trans into a glider but would really love a 6NZ. Would yall stick with this current drive train even though its 04 or go true pre emission?
