mercer transportation

Well just had my first accident with Mercer. Sitting in line at the fuel island here in Ormond beach with my brakes set and some guy from finland decided to back into me. Got some product damage and tore up five feet of rub rail.

 

Not good spyder atleast u know who did it . Someone got my rubrail while I was out off truck and left. Cant believe u stopped there way to small and tight

 

Yea I should have stopped at the 305 for fuel. Worst part is by the time I got three police report I couldn't make my delivery today. Wanted to be home tonight. Guess as long as I make it in before the short one gets out of school tomorrow it will be ok. Tho she is gonna be pissed I'm not there in the morning. It's her birthday so a pretty big deal for a 7 year old daddies girl.

The customers drive way down here in west Palm. Someone is coming in an hour early tomorrow to unload me first thing. i think they are taking pity on me cause I was literally on the phone with them getting directions when I got hit. The lady heard the crunch.

Well thanks for replying. Funny you say that as I'm having my first frustrating day I've had at Mercer. Reciever decided then needed me to deliver a light pole on every block and sit and wait for them to put them up before they moved to the next one, 5 1/2 hrs later..... My load out of SoCal got moved to next week. And now I sit. LOL. But I'm still new and am really not upset yet.

i have wanted to get gel inserted leather seats from this place in Ontario for months and I should be able to in the morning. That will make my day. That reminds me, do any of you know where I can get some half fenders and have them installed in this area? My truck is use to having a 53' trailer as a fender and I'm sick of getting my truck washed every two days because my little finder offers no protection to the back of my truck.

 

Anyone notice the drop in freight and rates?????
