mercer transportation

Lol I could I still have my platinum status at TA so I could get a shower there, I haven't fueled anywhere but loves since I came to Mercer. I need to Grease My Truck and Trailer this weekend haven't done it in 2 weeks it gives me a chance to do a real thorough inspection of everything. Anyone recommend a good Truck wash down there

 

Can any1 give me an idea of what Mercer is giving for FSC right now?

 

FSC is just smoke and mirrors for low pay to look inflated. Mercer gives the all in to the truck amount. No gimmicks, the load pays what it pays you can slice and dice it anyway you would like. It's a business, know what you need to run the load and go from there.

 

So can any1 tell me what it actually is tho... I'm doing a comparison to another company... just out of curiosity.

 

I believe DOE FSC this week was .28.

 

what really matters is what the entire rate is fsc included a 40 cent surcharge and a 90 cent rate isn't as good as a 28 cent fuel surcharge and a 1.50 rate. the overall rate at mercer is about 1.70 everything included


what rate do you need besides the fuel surcharge, adjust your thinking maybe. all fuel surcharges are basically figures the same

 

fuel surcharge is like gravy , you take the gravy and put it on the meat( meat being rate). I like meat a lot more than gravy

 

just wondering, my c15 acert gets better fuel mileage on anything other than loves fuel, several of us have compared notes and seem to agree. wondering if you ever noticed a difference.

 

I was curious bcuz our friend that came over to Mercer thought u guys were getting .15 more on FSC then we r. I thought it was across the board, not decided by company.

 

And we have the same issue. So we quit using Loves & went up 1/2 mpg. Had MANY issues w/ gelled fuel from there too.
