Im noticing a bunch of white Cascadias and T700's here just signing on. Are they putting on company trucks? Look like j.b. fleet trucks

It could be that new lease purchace deal that mercer is doing. Not a good idea in my opinion.

I had not heard about that, but there is a guy parked here in a new T680 with temp tags on his truck. I think I'll ask if he bought it through Mercer.

mercer isn't leasing the trucks. it s a company that leases trucks and mercer is one of the carriers they approve to lease to. a bit of a difference.

Thats what I thought originally, but I'm not so sure that the policy has not changed a little. I know Mercer isn't leasing the trucks' (Not even C.R. Or Swift does that directly) but it does seem like there might be a new program. OK before you all flame me, I am not saying there is. I have just heard from a few ppl that they are being told there is. TBH I hope there is not. But sitting here in Ontario this weekend I noticed a new truck with a # 200+ numbers over mine and I just started at the new year. IDK but maybe more need to read the "why do some fail" thead more? I think I'm doing ok here, but my truck is paid for. Not sure how happy I would be if it wasn't. (Well still happier then me old CPM company)

remember, you leased on in the dead of winter, reevaluate about end of april.

but back to the leasing thing, you know how things get twisted in retelling

I sure was disappointed in my license incentive this year! Then upon further investigation, I find out it's because I didn't work, didn't run enough miles, didn't earn enough money! All my fault. This year will probably be worse! I love this stage of my life. All those years of really hard work have paid off. I will be leaving a lot of freight for you guys that want and need to work hard.
