mercer transportation

I was in Louisville recently there were two new matching T680s there signing on. I was talking to one of the drivers. There is a company Quality Equipment, a leasing company out of Indianapolis, that will lease with no money down as long as you sign on with one of a list of companies. Mercer is one of those companies.

 

Mercer probably went this route to get more trucks running calif.

I was in Mercertown Friday and Sat morning, now in Oakgrove, Mo. at the ta. Real cold here to.

 

That might explain it.

 

They have quite a few trucks in California I've been up to the 60's in line but that's with flat, with step I'm always around 5 or 6

 

I would not want to be in California right now. I just talked to a friend of mine who took a load out and deadheaded back to his home base. He was lucky in that his shipper paid for the round trip in case he could not find something. He pulls a step deck.

 

Its been tough I waited on average 2 days with my stepdeck since January, but I lowered my standards to haul anything in CA that goes east to $1.59 a mile North south freight is still moving over $2.00 and intrastate is $3-$5 a mile

 

get with the program,, I got 950 out of the max 1000 dollars tag incentive. I didn't kill myself either but met the requirements.

 

you always got that group that thinks leasing on trucks is going to cut into their money. it doesn't bother me, I just keep doing what I do, I cant haul em all.

 

That's what I just woke up to didn't look anything like that yesterday not a snow flake to be found
