Not possilbe to go from your checking to your card. No discounts I've heard of for anything other than fuel. If you use the card account to write a check for parts or maintenance there will be a check charge also, 25¢ I believe.
Where you can also save money is know what states Mercer is tax exempt in and buying parts and getting maintenance there.

When I had my own company I had a driver call in and "report" a passenger in one of my trucks. First, how do they know it is not a team operation? But anyway, I asked for a description of the passenger, and the guy did that and felt he had to add "you know he's on a cell phone and that's not legal in a CMV" ... in the passenger seat mind you. Oh, the passenger was authorized, it was ME riding with my driver .... I should have turned myself in? -
Ok thanks. So I guess I'll just have to get the advance on the card for fuel to be able to get the fuel discount. No problem. Today is a good day to soak up some knowledge. Thanks Roshea

Wait did you say you only pay yourself $500 a week? You are a better man then me. I know I spoil myself a lot but I'm not sure I could live on that a week. I thought I was saving a lot here. I might need to reconsider what a lot is. Lol

As for the reserve I have every intention of increasing it to either 30 or 35% after I get my title in the fall -
So you could have a maintenance reserve set up with Mercer??? That'll be nice so I could just have a % going in there, then a % for fuel then the rest deposited into my business account and just pay myself weekly or biweekly. That could work perfect. I hope I'm reading the info correctly but correct if I'm wrong.
