Bad monkey, this won't be all that bad. As far as electrical fire problems go this looks fairly minor. The fact that it started and runs with no shut down codes being thrown means engine or ecm wires have been burnt through. It's just a matter of replacing the ones showing signs of being melted one by one. The though choice here is do you just cut out the bad ones and splice in, or do you replace the whole harness. If the harness can be purchased for reasonable $$ you may want to do that to avoid potential corrosion issues later. If you choose too splice, be sure to use quality heat shrink butt connectors.

Thanks Spyder, I'm going to let my mechanic make that call. I told him if he thinks its better to replace the whole harness (probably a good idea)then go ahead and do it. Electric leads with alot acurrent going through them and wires that need the right current and ohms going to the ecm is not something to cheap out on.

Well got the call today. Will be going Wed the 4th for van! What type of tablets do you guy use for logs? I got a laptop very good one so dont need a great tablet just somthing for logs. Looking to see what you guys are using
