WOW! I let you guys be for a week and WWIII tries to break out THEN BadMonkey fails at burning his truck up to collect the insurance money (jk BM, I'm glad your ok that's what really matters).
Well it's the end of the month and things up until tomorrow actually went pretty well. I unload in the morning and for the first time in three weeks, don't have a load set up. Kind of my fault as I took this load up into NH. Being a Friday I'm not going to expect much but a weekend off won't be so bad. One thing I can say about trying this shorter haul stuff. It's a lot more work.
Anyways, it's late and I'm getting up early. You all stay in nutral corners for a bit.

I am on the way to derby, Vermont. I will join ya in the northeast. couldn't pass on the rate. no neutral corner needed actually, it is sort of like a drive by shooting, it causes a bit of excitement for a while and then dies off. some of us have been here a while just trying to offer advice. others drop in , stir the pot, offer nothing of any help and leave. you know, that guy at the coffee counter.roshea and CJndaTruck Thank this. -

yeah, they may question it if you re-lit it
Bad Monkey Thanks this. -
Never mind that there were trucks on either side of me which would have put them in danger. I hope everybody gets that I was joking about relighting it. Its not in my nature to take the easy way out. It would pain me very much to watch my rig burn. It has been a good truck and is a part of me, I would not want it to die like that.

Thanks CJ, I know you guys would know I was joking but I thought I would clairify for the hell of it. How is your cascadia treating you? After my electrical problem I'm starting to wonder if I should upgrade. Although I am liking the pete 579 like Lucar has.

I pulled over to side , un hooked from trailer, got a cold trailer and sandwich out of the cooler and went and sat on the guard rail. ate the sandwich and drank the drink, then lit a cigarette., all thw hile smoke is just boiling out that old girl. by the time finshed my cigarette the foam had went out, no fire, and then I had to jack up the cab , run two more wires so I could start it. I hooked back to trailer and delivered the load, replaced the foam and that old girl lated 2 more years til she finally died for good in Monroe,mi. paid 1250 bucks cash , ran her for 4 years. she was my first that I owned, 1976 intl 4070b transtarII. bought her in 89 after being a company man for 10 yearsClick to expand...Click to expand...
