Both of my flats I have here are doing 1.90+ coast to coast. Sometimes I think people forget that its all about timing. I personally on the van side just ran up to Toronto & Montreal for over $3/mile. DH 68 miles reload for 1.80 down to NC & reload there for 1.75 to NV. These arent "great" rates, but for van I really cant complain. I guess I just dont understand why so many people complain. If you dont like it here @ Mercer, go somewhere else. Most people I run into cant believe I have survived with a van here, you have to be smart when you run your own business.

Either way you look at its not Mercer's fault that you failed/freights cheap/t680 guys/ whatever excuse you want to come up with. If you suck at math, you suck at being an O/O!!!!

Just looked at loads centered on Ashland Oh where I just loaded out of myself. Great majority of loads over $2.00 quite a few over $3.00.

Maybe it depend on your preferences, how much weight and what you're willing to do, I don't know. Further away from there I'm seeing the 1.68 loads mixed in also. I plan ahead to go where I can reload at the best rate, unless like next week I'm going to FL to visit a friend for a few days, then I take what I can get and accept that I'm being paid to drive to a vacation destination.

Editing only allows limited changes to time of last duty status start time, and never for driving time. Other edits can be done by log department. We have no "Line 5" but can add notation of personal use, and that can be changed to off duty by log department next day.

You have to put liquid underneath first. best to have a sign guy do it. Use a spray bottle to put down a thin film of water, although there's a special liquid the sign people use. then lay sign on as best you can then use a squeegee to get out all the bubbles. Sometimes it just doesn't want to work no matter how hard you try. Liquid underneath should let you reposition slightly if necessary also.

Explain agent putting load from Suwanee, GA to Richland, WA for $5900 then within seconds of it posting it dropped to $4700. I Watched it all day and took the load when it got up to $6300.
