Are you sure? A load that is paying $1247 for 874 loaded miles is $1.42 right? So a load paying $500 for 600 miles is $1.20. Unless my math n website lies lol

 

$720 would be 1.20 a Mile

600 miles and $600 would've been 1.00 per mile.

Pete, toss the spread sheet. you made an error because you are making things to complicated. keep it simple. The pay, divided by the miles. Grab a cheap pocket calculator at Wal-Mart and keep it with in reach at all times.

While this lad did suck big time, It's already done, just don't fall into the trap of looking back. besides, it's not like you lost money on it, you just didn't make very much.

Keep working the board and you will get better, just takes time.

Oh, and just because I can't help but give you some crap. You should of got a flat.

Just to add to what spyder is saying about math in relation to being a O/O. If it don't make dollars then it don't make sense.

 

pete, the first thing to learn here at mercer, if you turn down a load , you aren't going to make anyone mad, you aren't going to get put on a blacklist, simply not how it works here, don't do favors, do what makes you profitable. I know you were ready to roll and being Friday at 515 it was take that or sit til Monday, as we aint got weekend dispatch, and use the calculator on your phone. or a pencil and paper. we all live and learn, file this one in the memory banks and carry on
