Yea I delivered my oversize load Friday morning and couldn't find anything to do that wouldn't mess up my Monday pickup. I was gonna take off until Friday after the blitz but couldn't turn down 1.70 pm coming out of Florida on Monday.

If the refrigerant level is too low the compressor won't engage either, that doesn't mean anything is wrong with the compressor. You need to have that checked first before assuming it is a mechanical failure. If it was working okay previously how long did it take from when it started not doing so well to not working at all?

Its been running for a week and didn't have any problems. Its working now again but it makes a loud noise on start up Im take to a dealer and see if they can see whats up my ac made that noise up front when that ac went out. Ac seems to be my biggest cost of repair lol

Mercer handles it. You set a percentage to come from gross per trip. No strings attached, access anytime no questions.

My MPG did drop with most flat loads. Dropped about .4 MPG. The higher the load the better my MPG is. Pulling an empty van compared to empty flat is about 1 MPG difference. My next truck will be a mid roof for sure.

Oh and just for general info. We do have an $8k limit on EFS chks. We can get higher amounts but NOT by using the automated system. We need to call EFS and physically talk to a person to get the check authorized. I'm sure this won't come up for most of you. But if you are ever in the position that you need to write a check for over $8k save some time and talk to a real person.

I figured it would go down the condos aren't ideal for flatbed but I got a good deal on it. I think I may go to a midroof way in the future but this one has to do me for awhile.

Yes, and I'm making a lot more then pulling a van so for now the loss is still acceptable. But my next truck........ Will be a house on wheels that gets like 4mpg LOL
