God luck with that. I was told the same for 2 months. So was a friend of mine. I got tired of starving with the van so I went to a dealer and bought mine.

Fort mill got some. I got once down to Miami and then I bounce back. My trailer I dropped is being loaded with another load up to mn. These places to deliver too look bad on Google maps very very tight.

I move the occasional Mercer load as an outside carrier; never been a cheap one either. "old" trucks are defined as???

I have spoken with her and moved a few loads for them. I felt they were somewhat sketchy on a few things. For the guys on dedicated and been with Tammy a while I'm sure they do fine but when they post something on the board it's what those guys don't want or just overflow.

What I meant us they have gotten lax over the last several years. Ten years ago I'd have never dreamed I could work for Mercer. I had a brand new truck, but their rep was so good I didn't think my Columbia would make the cut next to all those show winning trucks.

Also, they required more experience. Hell, when I signed on they required you had been an owner operator for Atleast a year.

Today I see a lot of new guys that don't give a squat about image. Ok, maybe not a lot, but one or two ever time I stop in Louisville.

Maybe I'm an elitist prick, but having one driver that can't be bothered to put on a clean shirt is one to many.

I keep remembering a story my uncle told me back in the late nineties when he signed on. they refused to hirer a guy that showed up to orientation in shorts and a dirty tshirt. They told him that he wasn't the image they wanted representing their company.

Don't get me wrong, Mercer yes still the best and only company I will lease to. It's just they used to be even better, and sometimes I worry we are falling back to the rest of the pack by letting in some of the riff raff and filthy slobs.
