Ops it's a brand. Lots of companies make bypass systems. Or do you mean not sure on which model from ops?

I drive a columbia now. It's clean and we'll maintained though. I bought it purely for financial and sevice reasons. Most common truck with a detroit 60. Most common motor. Egr. But no dpf def. 07. I agree with you spyder. I also think it's becoming more of an industry wide problem. Maybe even a society wide problem. Man wore a tie to my first job interview. I was 14 or 15. The job dishwasher.

So not to be asking the same question. Forum moderator. Have you considered switching to flats? I wasn't defaming the company. I was trying to get a van driver who had been doing it for more than a few weeks opinion. I just didn't until yours. And the guy who just said he got tired of starving and went and bought a flat. Everyone else was flat guys. They all had valid points. And opinions. But none were experienced in the van division. I'm not new to trucking or oo. Just mercer.

Might be stupid question but.. I see flatbeds dump the air in the trailers when doing turns or backing up.. why do they do this? Also my truck has no switch to dump my airbags. Can't even dump my fronts.. is this gonna be a problem pulling flatbed?

On a spread axle flat lots of us use a dump valve on the aft axle to help with tire scrub in a tight turn. It needs to be used judiciously. Wiring one up is no big deal. I had an extra 4way pigtail wired in from the factory on this truck, and use it for trailer back up lamps, dump valve, and lift axle.

Im not a moderator no need for the smart remark...I wasn't being snobby when I told u that...I was simply saying you have asked the same question in different categories here... ive seen it... and if you're not getting an answer u either need to jump into it or don't ask the same thing over and over... Vans have stated including myself that we make money... Flatbed may be more money for some but I don't follow money...I do what im comfortable with.. so if you're doing flatbed for money you won't last long.. you have to want to do it because that's what you prefer at heart..imo.. but it's not that big of a difference money wise between flats and vans if u run the right way... you can run flats and not know where to run and you'll be broke or run Van and nowhere to run and make money... just my 2 cents

Well that's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks. I just really never ran flats. I really don't want to. So it just seemed like people were saying it was not ok. None of them really were doing it so I wanted to hear from a guy who was. That's why I was on several different forums asking. Anyway a pa guy huh. My mom and dad still live in Lancaster pa. I moved down to the beach. We are still close though. Thanks for your help
