Dude, you should have done that before you bought it. I fear you are about to learn some very harsh lessons about trucks. But if you stick it out, and learn from your mistakes, there will be light at the end of the tunnel.

Depends on how good the load pays. I have dead head from southern cali to east of Dallas cause I didn't want to spend a month out west or pull stupid cheap freight. But keep in mind, the only reason I was in cali is the rate was good enough going in I could run it roundtrip and still make decent money.

Wait a minute. Let me get this straight. are you saying, that right now, you can sign on with another carrier, that will pay you more money than you are currently making at Mercer. Pulling they're trailer. And they will even pay the tolls. But you won't do it cause it would require you to park this new trailer you bought? I couldn't possibly have read that right.

That's what I got out of it. For 40+ CPM more plus tolls, I would park it in an instant. The extra money would more than pay for a 38k trailer. Or it could always be sold.

So how does the Mercer load board work? Say there are 20 loads on the company board(example). Are those the only loads available. Or are the loads from some agents not on there. Also do they posts outside brokers loads on there

So what about outside broker loads do they get posted. I was just wondering if most of the available loads are actually on the board. I know that public board isn't a true reflection of what's available. I just wondered. You know sni choice. All the loads are on the board. Landstar nearly none of the good loads hit the board. Where is mercer?

Well they do from what i seen. But sometimes you do call about a load and its already gone:S Some loads are old but ur cord can say yes thats an OLD load but we can try. If you wanna make it. you got to pre plan loads. Don't wait into u are empty to find a load.

Yeah that's how I like to run. I like to preplan. I know sometimes your missing the spot rates. You also aren't wasting a lot of time or getting yourself stranded. Loads fall apart of course. But thanks that's why I was asking
