My only complaint is I wish the agents or Mercer would leave the rate as what it's advertised as...4600 coming from Socal for a Van hell yea I'll take it... get the load it drops to 4500... i'll still take it but come on now lol... and as far as people wondering how the Quality guys do it.. hey if you can't make 600 a week then turn a profit after that you need to look for a desk job... it's money out here to be made...I know guys who have their own authority that complain about the rates dropping so it's a domino affect all across the board... just got to be smarter and not be as choosy as we once we're simple

I'm not saying 1.49 or 1.50 is good freight, or should be hauled regularly, but I know my cost per mile to operate, so 1.40 a mile going a short distance to get me home is bearable, I won't really profit, but I'll cover operational cost of running the truck

Who is good in recruiting to speak with? I've called twice, both times I spoke with elizabeth, and she just didn't seem real helpful

Have you filled out an app yet? I got much more information and all questions were answered after I was approved.

That's what kills the industry. Unless it's less than 10k lbs it's a insulting rate. I'd D/H first then let the rate climb before I haul it. That how rates go down because so and so hauled it last week for 1.49 so why can't you or the shipper will be saying we need to add money because it won't get hauled

Taylor is right. I've got my number that I just won't go below no matter what. Even to get out of a bad area. I can break ten mpg running empty. Doesn't take a while lot of fuel money to bounce out of those bad areas.

    kjoseph and WolfHound2/27 Thank this.
