I don't want your satellite, but if you are still at the yard tomorrow, I'd be happy to grab a bite too eat with ya.

I wish you were giving the dish away last month, I just dropped the money on mine a few weeks ago

How does the on demand services work with those? Do shows and movies dl relatively quickly, or do you end up waiting half an hour for it? We have cable at home and I only ever use the on demand portion.

I've got to get used to tarping/securing my loads. You guys posting these numbers on the short runs, I couldn't make any money that way. It takes me half the day to leave the shipper. My all miles since I got here in March is probably about 1.70 or 1.75, but I have been putting enough in to make my net still much better than I had hoped for. I have to make longer runs though to make up for all the money I'm losing because I take forever. I had a load cancel on me on my way to it today, so now I'm sitting for the weekend in Bloomsbury, NJ, but it put me at #1 on the board and I have a 6.24 load going monday. So I guess I get to watch my 'Hawks take game 5 tomorrow.

I don't have dvr or on demand set up with mine, costs a little more per month. I did opt for every channel so I didn't see much of a need for it.

Is this your first gig at open deck? Is so give it time. With more time doing it, you will find faster and faster ways. most loads I'm in and out in an hour or less. Even most tarp loads only add thirty minutes, and that's taking the time to put felt down on every load. This one took me a full two hours longer than normal. Stupid shipper and their mandatory tarping station. Not being allowed on the deck really threw off my routine.

Yeah, this is my first gig open deck, pulled a reefer since 2010. I hope what you say is true, but I have my doubts I will ever be that quick. I'm a perfectionist and it has to look pretty. Half the time is spent on the front and rear trying to make my folds look good.

I guess I could get some true lumber tarps so I have the flaps, but seems like too quick to get rid of the ones I just bought.
