3 DAYS of reading this thread... quite the accomplishment. question is I have been doing flatbed since 1996 with a little dry box thrown in for a little while... kids are grown, low home bills.. roughly 1000 month... been thinking of Mercer for a long time now.. It is "my time" now.. couldnt buy a truck while kids were growning up, too much of a gamble, but now that it is just me... going to take the plunge all in .. I have access to a 48'stepdeck, .. good shape, could I bring this to Mercer or do they require a 53' skateboard?

You said you have access. So guessing it's not in your name. They will require power of attorney or some such other legal lawyer speak paperwork. When you speak to recruiting be sure to find out exactly what you need for then to sign the trailer on. That way everything is in order when you get to orientation.

My uncle has a couple vans and a couple flats and a 48'step deck.. he wants to sell them and I have first choice on them.. was just curious if the trailer had to be 53' or not..
