For me it's under thirty bucks a day. Trailer payment, bobtail ins, and truck and trailer physical damage are my daily's. Plus plates and permits pro rated over a full year.

 

Mine is $45 right now with the plates and permits coming out right now. Drops back to $34 after those are paid. Hopefully next year I'll get the safety bounus to offset the plates. And I'm sure it's different for everyone. But knowing that figure makes it easy for me to pass on bad freight. It's pretty easy to make up less then $50 a day.

 

Had to think why we might have such a large gap between our figures. The only thing I could come up with is occupational Heath? If I subtract that our figures are almost the exact same.

 

Ya, no occupational ins for me. Figured I'm already paying 800 a month for pour health insurance and my life insurance.

 

My last company is letting me keep mine for 6months. Other then that's it's 700 a month...

 

Yeah, I thought the first time I went home I was going to have a negative check when I came back out as well, but even the first load out I still got a little something. My daily expenses sit at about $140, but that comes with the truck payment which is $98 of it. So yeah, I guess we all have a little different expenses, but I figure with the money we make when we are running, I can sit and make it up if needed, if $140/day is gonna break me I don't need to be out here.

not quite, its $2900, including the bobtail insurance.
