That's true I almost always hook to the chain itself except for the skidded coils I had yesterday in which the way I ran my chains I only had enough pull to hook it to the pocket

You got lucky with that one I'm seeing a big DH out of NH Monday just to get to somewhere to get a load headed south. Seen one on the board for 1.55 and tarp. Ha ha ha I'll pass
-
What do you mean spoll? The thing you wrap your straps with? When I say rub rail I mean inside around that solid round part. I'll post some pics
-
I'd pass to. But honestly, nothing better will show up. Just start heading to buffalo and hope a good paying load of greasy bars pop up before you get there.
Some guys have good luck in Jersey or eastern pa. But I never have. -
That solid round part is called a spool. That's what I meant but my auto correct hates me.
TruckerPete1990 Thanks this. -

I would've went through the each corner of the untis then around the spool and hook the chain to itself. I haven't hauled the ac untis yet but by the looks you might be pulling it a certain way like thatTruckerPete1990 Thanks this.

That's the way I did it with others.

Do how taylor said. Go through the ac bracket and hook the chain back to itself. Buy a box of cotter pins cause a lot of times you gotta take the hook off the chain to fit it through.
TruckerPete1990 Thanks this.
