Well the gen works on apu. Rooftop ac/heat unit I've been looking at. Runs from 400-650. But then I'd have to cut a hole in sleeper on roof. I like the apu cuz it would keep the truck fluids warm in winter. But Im wondering how much it would cost to let camping would set up that unit.

Yes flatbeds are leased at 548 a month no money down, vans I think ate 648? a month no Money down
They will sell you the equipment headache rack chains binders straps tarps etc. You have to come up with half down on that stuff.

Being that I should know that area and I-76 like that back of my hand get a flat. My thing with Mercer is you can make real good money living anywhere. But if your one of the guys who have to be home weekly or even bi-weekly then where you live might matter when it comes to revenue. For instance if you don't mind the NE then you could make pretty good money and go home weekly per say. I don't run that area consistent to be able to tell exact revenue but judging by the loadboard going NE is where you'll make your money. Good luck to ya

Finally got a load going to Oregon after sitting three days in ky cause either there were no loads or loads offered to me were taken by other drivers..van side that is...I know everybody says go flat but im a door swinger.. with that being said I left Schneider Choice to come here and despite what people say on the van side it's the same here as it is there except for the first in first out thing....rates maybe a tad higher here but the trailer payment and trailer insurance washes that difference away... if im gonna stick to van id better go back to where I was... Mercer is a great company.. for flatbed...I think they mightve hired more drivers than they have freight on the van side and these guys with these Quality trucks aren't helping.. just my rant for the weekend lol.. be safe guys
