    But they don't allow any equipment especially dunnage to be held in by bungees. This is why he's saying, secure it with a strap for inspection."
    Also, inspector will cite you as there are no tie down ratings for tarpstraps. Learned the hard way years ago....

    You gotta read through the thread bro. Not to be mean but once a week someone always ask about our van freight when we currently talk about it as well as those who switched from van to flat. Get a flat and don't look back. And yes if you have no flat experience mercer will train. Don't be scared of deck work. It's easy compared to what I used to do

    except for the rare occasion that you get the load I currently have, and then it's a pain. 8' tall "u" shaped machinery with a 16' gap that has to be tarped.... I hated life Friday. Lol
